Have You Watched Kadawan Festival 2009?

Years ago, I made it a point to participate in the Kadayawan Festival.. not as contender of any competition, but just a mere and simple watcher..viewer.. in short, tan-aw lang (just to watch). I had so much fun, yet sadly this year, I contented myself to sit down in front of the tv and envy those who were able to personally experienced the heat of the sun. I should say, I miss half of my life (with a little sob)!

Nevertheless, I saw the improvement and glamorous plus fabulous presentation this year. So much Davao city has grown into a world class destination, and Kadayawan itself is becoming an international event! What more I could say, but kudos to the organizers and the participants from all over Mindanao.

I have learned from the interview with Bong Aportadera that the preparation only took them less than a month.. What??? That grandiosa floral parade, and those other activities that comprise the Kadayawan this year had got them for less than a month. Hmm, what a great job.. I mean excellent job.. no no no.. hah.. Bong, you are my hero! Of course all those who have helped make this event such a pride for us Davaoeños, you did such a wonderful job! Bitaw, walay hilakay ha, Kadayawan Festival is improving each year.

As of writing, wala pa ko kabalo kinsa mga daug sa floral float parade, so I’ll just update this post once I have the details.
